Annual returns of a company are not the same as tax returns filed with the Kenya Revenue Authority). Annual returns of a company are filed annually with the registrar of companies.
- Upon registration, a company can file returns after eighteen months. Thereafter, the company will file returns annually with the Registrar of Companies.
- The Annual Returns shows the changes that have occurred at the company during the year such as change of shareholding, directorship and registered office of the company.
- The Registrar of companies can de-list a company for failure to file returns.
